Q: What type of animals do you petsit and have experience with?

A: Pet Pals can care for most types of animals including farm animals.  I personally have 10 cats, 3 horses, 2 guinea pigs , 2 turtles and a dog of my own.  I have been in business since 2000, and Pet Pals is registered with the State of New Hampshire.

Q: What areas do you service?

A: Pet Pals services the Greater Belmont area ( Lakes Region).

Q: What can I expect when I initially contact Pet Pals?

A: Pet Pals will take preliminary information over the phone about you, your pet(s), the type of service required (vacation, daily walk, etc), and pricing. An initial 30 minute visit that is free of charge will be scheduled for Pet Pals to meet your pet, and discuss dates of service and number of visits you will need for your pet.

Q: What services do you provide?

A: Pet Pals will visit your pet as many times a day as YOU determine to be appropriate, and spend approximately 30 minutes with your pet each visit.
Pet Pals will also provide daily walks for dogs whose owners are away for extended periods of time and need a caring, responsible person to give them exercise and companionship.
*Additional services that are included free of charge if desired are; collecting mail and newspapers, rotating lights, and watering plants.

Q: Isn't it expensive to use a Petsitter?

A: Depending on the amount of visits per day you request,  it may initially seem a bit more costly. However, most owners main concern is for their pet's safety, comfort and well-being. It can be extremely stressful for some animals to be placed anywhere other than their own homes, and with a petsitter your pet will follow its customary diet and exercise routine. Pet Pals is also able to care for multiple pets in the same household for one set rate. And of course, there are those pets that are not accepted in a kennel, that Pet Pals can care for. We also provide other services in your home free of charge, and provide a sense of security with somebody in your home on a daily basis.
